Fees

Individual Therapy (50 minutes) - $125

Couples/Family Therapy (60 minutes) - $150

Longer sessions are pro-rated.  Sessions are scheduled by mutual agreement.

Home visits are considered on an individual basis.   

Telemedicine via Phone or online communication are considered.

I reserve a few slots at sliding-scale rates for the uninsured or unemployed.

Parenting Instruction - I offer parenting groups and individual parent coaching.

Anger Management Classes - I offer a low-cost group class as an AM818 Facilitator.

Therapeutic Supervised Visitation - Off Site and On Site fees varies. 

Court-Related - Letter Writing/Progress Reports - $75/hr; Court Appearance - $250+/hr. 

Health Insurance/EAP Benefit Plans

I contract with a number of private Health Insurance Plans, Medi-Cal, Medicare, Ca Healthy Families, several Employee Assistance Programs, and also accept Ca Victim Compensation Program.  Please check your mental health coverage, provider list, co-pays, or authorization requirements prior to your first appointment.  For patients with a PPO insurance and your plan allows for "Out-of-Network Providers," I can provide you with a superbill, so that you can submit the bill directly to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.  Accepted payments outside of third-party payers can be made in cash, check, credit card, or PayPal.  

Appointments

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please call my office to cancel and reschedule in advance.  Payments for sessions missed are required without a 24-hour notification.  Appointments can be scheduled during business hours from M-F with late evening appointments available.  Weekends are only for clinical emergencies.

Clinical Supervision

I currrently supervise Associate Social Worker Intern (ASWI) Scotty Enyart and Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (MFTI) Erin Halpern.  They are registered with the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences and accepting new clients.

Emergencies

If you have a psychiatric or medical emergency, please dial 911.  If you need to contact me between sessions, please call (818-922-4367) and leave a message.  I will return your call as soon as possible or within a 24 hour period.
